My journey into the word of tequila began with a vacation to Mexico a few years ago.   I was fortunate to drink with locals, who introduced me to the rich history, craftsmanship, and diverse flavors of this iconic spirit.  It was a revelation- tequila was not just a shot that you took with salt and limes, but a celebration of the centuries- old traditions and a reflection of the land in which it came from.

Since then, I have found myself missing the depth and complexity of the tequilas I had tasted in Mexico.  The tequila available in my local stores seemed a pale comparison to the artisanal spirits I had enjoyed.  These brands were filled with additives that included sugars, glycerin, oak extracts and caramel coloring to enhance the taste of mediocre tequila- at best.  This sparked a desire in me to dive deeper into the word of tequila and share my newfound appreciation with others.

With this in mind, I created The Tequila Social Club.  My goal is to create a platform where people can explore the diverse world of additive-free tequila, guided by a knowledgeable expert who shares your passion.  I want to recreate the sense of community and celebration I had experienced in Mexico, where tequila was not just a drink, but a way of bringing people together.

Today, The Tequila Social Club offers a range of tequila tasting events, from guided tastings and educational workshops to customized events.  I strive to provide an experience that goes beyond just tasting, introducing my guests to the history, culture and craftsmanship behind every bottle.
