Which Blanco won the blind taste test?

Last week I had a tasting event that featured several additive-free brands. For fun, I threw in 2 Celebrity brands to see if my tasters could tell the difference. We tasted all of the "additive-free" brands first. I guided them through each sip, educating them on the history, heritage and production process as well as helping them pick up the unique aromas and different tastes of each one. When we got to the 2 celebrity brands, it filled me with such joy to watched them pucker their mouths and make funny faces as they sipped them. It is a very clear distinction when you compare these tequila brands. My "additive-free" tequilas were: Lalo, El Tesoro, Siete Leguas, Tequila Ocho and Don Fulano. These 5 brands are powerhouses in the "additive-free" tequila world. My celebrity tequilas were: Casamigo and 818. The additive free tequilas are less expensive than the celebrity brands and hands down taste WAY better! Quality vs quantity my friends! I will take good quality tequila over mass produced, overpriced and mediocre tasting tequila that throws junk in it to make it taste better, any day of the week! 10.19.23
